Two months ahead of its official launch in Imola, MCN has got its hands on the new Ducati 848 Evo. Replacing the current 848, the 140bhp Evo has more power, a steering damper and Monobloc Brembos from the Ducati 1198R superbike.

Senior Road tester, Michael Neeves has tested Ducati's new mini-superbike on the track and road and says, "The 848 was already one of the best cornering bikes you can buy, with just the right balance between handling and power. The 848 Evo still has this magical balance but it's that bit sharper overall. It's right up there as one of the best sports bike I've ever tested."
