People On Wheels, A Motorcycle Trackday Project

Shot over April 2009 at Megara Circuit in Greece for a film school project ,this video attempts to describe what goes down on a motorcycle trackday event, from a more personal perspective/POV.A big thank you to 0-300 magazine, Ms Ioanna Arvanitaki, and Mr Zafeiropoulos, for allowing me to roam free and shoot, and the friends for letting me capture their ugly mugs on glorious HD, haha.

Since a lot of people are asking about the music here it is: Ludovico Einaudi - Primavera .Enjoy!

Two years after Kawasaki stepped into the ring to face Suzuki, the ZX-14 and GSX1300R Hayabusa remain the only machines in a universe all their own. No literbike can match the asphalt-peeling 100 ft-lbs of torque that pours forth from these 1340cc-plus hyperbikes.

Song: With A Spirit
Length: 09:58

lyrics:

you can be
whatever u want
when you're high
walk slowly
with a spirit by your side
(oh baby)
don't fear if u lose your mind
say how u doin' boy i'm feelin' fine
... when somethin' carries me away... hey hey hey hey....
-
don't think
just take a ride
don't believe
that jesus lied
to keep us all so satisfied
with a sale
u should know baby

don't feel
the thorny nights
never ask
for holy rites
don't ya think
that god has died
this time
-
and don't stop
takin' these drugs cuz' they
got u flyin' forgettin' yesterday
maybe it's crazy but keep gettin' stoned while u can
baby in the lord's hands
-
don't say
u know what's right

don't take
those alibis
don't hate
the other side
when they're right
sure they are baby

don't wave
your flag up high
don't praise
your concubines
did u just
fall for lies
this time

Third Eye Blind - Motorcycle Driveby

I made this for me, because this is one of my favorite bands, and favorite song of all time. enjoy
Lyrics -
Summer time and the wind is blowing outside
In lower Chelsea and I don't know
What I'm doing in this city
The sun is always in my eyes
It crashes through the windows
And I'm sleeping on the couch
When I came to visit you
That's when I knew
That I could never have you
I knew that before you did
Still I'm the one who's stupid

And there's this burning
Like there's always been
I've never been so alone
And I've never been so alive

Visions of you on a motorcycle drive by
The cigarette ash flies in your eyes
And you don't mind, you smile.
And say the world, it doesn't fit with you
I don't believe you, you're so serene
Careening through the universe
Your axis on a tilt, you're guiltless and free
I hope you take a piece of me with you

And there's things I would like to do
That you don't believe in
I would like to build something
But you'll never see it happen

And there's this burning
Like there's always been
I've never been so alone
And I've, I've never been so alive

And there's this burning, aaa-oh
There is this burning, yeah yeah yeah

Where's the soul I want to know
New York City is evil
The surface is everything
But I could never do that
Someone would see through that

And this is our last time
We'll be friends again
I'll get over you, you'll wonder who I am

And there's this burning
Just like there's always been
I've never been so alone, alone
And I, and I, I've never been so alive
So alive

I go home to the coast
It starts to rain I paddle out on the water, alone
Taste the salt and taste the pain
I'm not thinking of you again

Summer dies and swells rise
The sun goes down in my eyes
See this rolling wave
Darkly coming to take me home

And I've never been so alone
And I've never been so alive

Full Review: http://www.motorcycle.com/shoot-outs/2010-bennche-megelli-250r-vs-ninja-250r-89918.html

For two bikes ostensibly in the same class, Kawasaki's Ninja 250R and Bennche's Megelli 250R are as different as can be.

One's been around as the only offering in its class since before some of its aspiring buyers were even born, and the other is an upstart that was practically born yesterday...
